A World Council both celebrates and accelerates the progress we are making to deliver on YMCA Vision 2030. It’s a unique chance to share – within this global Movement, and with the growing numbers of partners who work with us.

Our hosts
YMCA Canada, in partnership with the YMCA of Greater Toronto, is proud to host the 21st World Council event. There are 37 member associations in Canada. Collectively, we serve over 2 million people each year in programs including child care, health and wellness, aquatics, employment services, immigrant settlement, camps, mental wellness, and many other community initiatives that respond to local needs.
Our host city
Toronto, Canada’s largest city is a vibrant mosaic of cultures, flavours, and experiences. Unique neighbourhoods bustle with restaurants, cafes, bakeries, independent shops, markets, and parks. Toronto is home to many attractions from the soaring CN Tower to the serene Toronto Islands. Most importantly, it’s a place where diversity isn’t just celebrated — it’s the city’s heartbeat.
