On the final day of World Council in Toronto, we will host a YMCA Tomorrow Party, with our partners from WonderLab at Monash University.

This is a new and creative way to help us dream together about the future. We will “time travel” beyond today and imagine futures shaped by our values, our commitment, and our connection to each other.

The Tomorrow Party is linked to Vision 2030 and will support the ideas coming from the World Council Solution Studio programme. The experience is guided by the people in the room. Together, we will share feelings, memories, and ideas, and use imagination to move forward as one group.

We are looking for facilitators

We are looking for people who would be excited to help bring this experience to life at World Council.

You do not need to be an expert. The ideal facilitator is:

• Curious and calm

• Comfortable supporting others

• A good listener

• Warm and welcoming

• Happy to learn

You might be early in your facilitation journey, and that is fine. You are a great fit if you:

• Feel confident inviting people to join in

• Are open to not knowing all the answers

• Can follow a simple structure

• Can respond to the energy in the room

• Help people feel safe, included, and excited to imagine together

The Tomorrow Party will be multilingual, so please do not let language be a barrier to applying. Your facilitation skills matter more than perfect English.

Training and support

All facilitators will receive:

• Online training before World Council

• A 90-minute briefing and training session during World Council, led by Wonderlabs
